Privacy Policy
Last updated 20 September 2026. This explains what Orra collects about job seekers on WhatsApp, employers on this website and people who just visit it, what we do with it, and how to have it deleted. Questions: hey@heyorra.com.
1. Who we are
Orra is a job-matching service for Pakistan. Employers post roles on this website; job seekers receive matched roles and talk to our automated assistant on WhatsApp. “We” and “us” in this policy mean Orra. You can reach us at hey@heyorra.com.
2. What we collect
Job seekers, on WhatsApp. What you tell the assistant, and what WhatsApp gives us:
- your WhatsApp phone number;
- your name, email address and location;
- your skills, education, work experience and the kind of job you want;
- a CV or photo of one, if you send it. We read the text from it and delete the file straight afterwards;
- your messages with the assistant, the jobs we sent you, and the applications and interview replies you make.
We never ask for your CNIC, a password, bank details or any payment. If a message asks you for these, it is not from us.
Employers, on this website. Your login email and name, your company’s details, the jobs you post, messages in Support, your team members’ emails, and which plan you are on. We do not collect or store card numbers. When card payments are added they will be handled by the payment provider, not by us.
Visitors. When you open a public page we add one anonymous tick to that day’s totals: which page, which site sent you, your country, and whether you used a phone or a computer. To count you once a day we keep a one-way code made from your connection details. It cannot be turned back into an IP address, and it stops matching the next day. We use no advertising trackers and no cookies for this. We also use a privacy-friendly analytics service that gives us aggregated page-view counts without cookies. If your browser sends “Do Not Track” we do not count the visit.
3. What we use it for
- to match you with jobs and send them to you;
- to pass your application to the employer when you choose to apply;
- to run and support the service, reply to you, and keep it safe from abuse and fraud;
- to understand how many people use the site, so we can improve it.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Who sees your information
Employers see a job seeker’s name, phone number and the relevant profile details only when that person applies to their role, and the assistant asks for confirmation before sending. Employers must use those details only to consider you for that role.
Companies that help us run Orra handle data on our behalf, and only for that purpose. They cover:
- hosting the website and storing your data securely, including website login;
- delivering WhatsApp messages to and from you;
- AI processing: an AI service reads your messages and writes the assistant’s replies. The assistant is automated, not a person;
- visit statistics;
- our domain and email.
Some of these companies are based outside Pakistan, so your data may be processed abroad. We share it with the authorities only when the law requires.
5. How long we keep it, and deleting it
Job seekers: message Orra reset to the assistant and confirm. Your profile, CV details, job history and the whole conversation are deleted. The one thing we keep is your name and the reason you give for leaving, so we can learn why people go. Reply STOP at any time to stop hearing from us without deleting anything.
Employers: email hey@heyorra.com and we will delete your account and postings, except what we must keep for legal, tax or fraud reasons.
Backups we take for disaster recovery may hold a copy of deleted data for up to 30 days before they expire.
6. Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Job seekers can also change their details by telling the assistant (for example, “update my email”). Email hey@heyorra.com for any of these.
7. Keeping it safe
Data is stored with strict access rules, sent over encrypted connections, and open only to the people who need it to run Orra. No service is perfectly secure, so if you suspect a problem, tell us straight away at hey@heyorra.com.
8. Children
Orra is for people looking for work. It is not aimed at children.
9. Changes to this policy
When this page changes we update the date at the top. If a change matters to how your data is used, we will also tell employers through their dashboard or email.
